THE BEST PLACE TO LIVE IN THE WORLD?

The UNDP has announced that Norway is the best place the live. This is based on life expectancy, per capita Income, Education. And also they go on to say that they found a marked difference between the developed and the developing countries.
Was topics such as Freedom and Fiscal policies were taken into consideration?

Top 21 countries in the world to live based on data from 2007, according to the UN

1. Norway
2. Australia
3. Iceland
4. Canada
5. Ireland
6. Netherlands
7. Sweden
8. France
9. Switzerland
10. Japan
11. Luxembourg
12. Finland
13. United States
14. Austria
15. Spain
16. Denmark
17. Belgium
18. Italy
19. Liechtenstein
20. New Zealand
21. United Kingdom
Let’s compare the above countries with the United States.
We champion Freedom and free market policies, our taxation are far less than the countries mentioned.
We are nation of innovators; most technologies come of the companies in the United States and the university system. Most people come here for medical treatment. We have the best medical facilities, the universities and Information Technology companies. The space technology has contributed vastly to the improvement of our daily lives. On the other hand USA is a very large country with a huge consumer base compared to Norway, Sweden, Canada, or Iceland.
The United States has a lottery system for immigration and lots of countries participate. Few years ago from the State of Bangladesh the US received almost 100 million applications. The population of that country is around 153 million or so. Also there are almost 10 million illegal immigrants in this country. These numbers are not by accident.
People love to come and live in the United States.
If the UN feels the above countries are better places to live, why do they have their Head Office in New York City? Why not consider moving it to a place like Swaziland?
